Hello World — A Fresh Start

This is the first post on my redesigned blog. I tore everything down and started over.

Why Rebuild?

The old site had 50+ components, a database, authentication, comments, real-time features — and yet it didn't feel like me. Sometimes the best thing you can do is remove.

What's Different

• Obsidian as CMS — I write in my favorite editor, push to deploy
• Warm editorial design — Typography does the heavy lifting
• No database — Zero runtime dependencies for the main site
• Reading journal — Powered by Readwise, showing what I actually read

The code is simpler. The design is warmer. The focus is clearer.
